It is evident from the photo that this patch on the campus of Baden Powell School in Mysore isn’t used for playing basketball. In fact, the space is often rented out to event managers for exhibitions – handicraft, home appliances, building materials, furniture, and a host of other consumer items.

It is unusual to see a grass basketball court!
And just as unusual (to a North American) to have a play ground also used for a furniture (et al) exhibition. I find that very interesting.
I do agree with Lesley! Such an interesting capture in comparison with basketball courts in the the US. Hope you enjoy the remainder of your week!
